Temporal

Crafted from sustainably harvested macrocarpa and recycled copper rod, Temporal is a kinetic timekeeper that rocks back and forth counting periods of either thirty seconds or one minute depending on the placement of the copper weight.

Inspired by a pendulum, Temporal uses the physics principles behind many early timekeeping devices.

Where time is often counted with a sense urgency, temporal takes a more meditative approach. It brings time into the physical space, marking its passage in sweeping arcs that gradually peter out until stillness returns.

Temporal is precision cut with a CNC router for accurate timekeeping and carefully hand finished, making it an object that is as lovely to handle as it is to look at.
